Four programme types — each involving communities, using LitterTrace for GPS/photo/metrics, and generating exportable means of verification.
Where relevant we document baseline → intervention → trend — important for GEF / Norad-style results frameworks. Outcome indicators are proxies until longitudinal evidence exists.
Geography: Nigeria, with pilot focus on Abuja LGAs and informal settlements ([●] LGA names to be published).
Community Environmental Sanitation Campaigns
Street and neighbourhood clean-ups in vulnerable urban, peri-urban, and rural communities across Nigeria — with structured documentation for community feedback and donor reporting.
Community involvement
Local leaders help nominate priority streets; youth and women’s groups mobilise volunteers; households receive hygiene and waste-handling messaging where relevant.
How LitterTrace is used
Coordinators and volunteers log events in LitterTrace: GPS location, waste types and approximate weight/volume, before/after photos, and participant check-ins.
Measurable results
Tonnes/kg collected, volunteer counts, households/communities reached, and compliance rates for GPS/photo/check-in fields.

Waterway and drainage clean-ups
Targeted interventions on rivers, streams, and blocked drains that contribute to flood risk and environmental sanitation challenges in Abuja LGAs and similar settlements.
Community involvement
Residents who live along drains and waterways co-identify blockages; COMSADI coordinates safe clean-ups with local authority liaison where needed.
How LitterTrace is used
Each drain/waterway event is GPS-stamped and photo-evidenced; waste categories and volumes are logged for baseline → intervention → trend tracking.
Measurable results
Metres of drain cleared (estimated), kg/volume removed, repeat hotspot visits, and share of events meeting verification thresholds.

Platform exports (CSV / GeoJSON / evidence packs) support municipal planning, ESG reporting, and grant means of verification.
Measurable results
